Press conference

To conduct a press conference first decide what you have to convey to the media, such as an important announcement, clarification or news. Then choose a quiet and convenient place where journalists can come such as a conference room or hall. Then invite the journalists ahead of time and prepare a short press release that contains your message in clear and simple words.
On the day of the press conference, prepare the venue well with microphones, cameras and seating arrangements. The speaker should speak briefly and clearly then answer journalists' questions. Finally, thank the media and if possible, distribute a press release or other informational material.
